Light It Up

Light It Up: Bringing Clean Power Energy
to Nusa Tenggara Timur

A Daily Energy Struggle
More than 75,000 households in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) lack access to electricity (Kompas.id, 2023). In many villages across the region, people walk over an hour just to charge a phone, which takes away time from work, learning, and daily life. Kerosene lamps remain a common alternative, yet they can consume up to half of a family's income and create serious fire hazards.

Light The Village Up
Together with Schneider Electric Indonesia, we’re making solar energy accessible in underserved villages across Nusa Tenggara Timur. Our Mobiya and Homaya kits provide more than just light, they offer dignity, independence, and new possibilities for daily life in communities facing ongoing energy and water crises.

Empowering Communities with Solar Power
Every household adopting solar energy will experience transformation in multiple areas
30
Hours of reduced monthly walking time for each villager to obtain electricity for charging phones
50%
of household income, previously spent on kerosene, is now completely saved through solar energy adoption
360
Kilograms of CO2 emission per year is prevented by eliminating kerosene use in 1 household
**1 L of Kerosene release estimate of 2,5 kilogram CO2
Case Study
Lighting Up Sodana Village with Solar Power

Lighting and Beyond
Each solar kit—whether Mobiya or Homaya—is built to last.
With light lasting up to two days and headlamps reaching 20 meters, they’re more than tools, which makes them enablers of productivity and comfort. The Homaya system can even power fans, phones, and a small TV.
